The Imass S5721 is a replacement hot water temperature sensor designed for Imass instantaneous gas water heaters fitted in caravans, motorhomes and campervans.

The sensor monitors the temperature of the water leaving the heater and sends temperature information to the electronic control system, helping regulate hot water operation and prevent overheating.

The Imass service manual identifies the hot water sensor as part of the heater's temperature monitoring and protection system. A faulty or short-circuited sensor can contribute to an E6 fault code, although overheating can also cause this fault.
