SSPA0151 is a genuine Thetford/Spinflo hob burner thermocouple kit intended for cooker/hob installations fitted with a lid shut-off (S/O) safety system. The thermocouples monitor the burner flame and allow the gas safety valve to shut off the gas supply if the flame goes out.

The kit is listed as containing 4 thermocouples: SPCC1080 × 1 and SPCC1082 × 3. It is also cross-referenced under the older code S42912.

Thetford's spare-parts catalogue makes an important distinction: SSPA0150 is the standard Type-S hob thermocouple kit, whereas SSPA0151 / S42912 is specified for versions fitted with lid shut-off.
